The forces and means of Powerhouse. Where to Find the Sniper Rifle at the Beginning of the Network Game: Manufacturing Facilities

Survival Knife

A large hunting knife that is suitable for secretly killing enemies in close combat (you need to approach the enemy from behind). You will receive it when completing the main story in the second chapter. In it you will be pursued by a monster with a rotating blade. When the second chase begins, you will reach a red corridor. On the other hand, an enemy will appear who will throw a knife at you. You will be able to dodge the throw, take the knife and leave this area safe and sound. Now you will be able to kill monsters with a knife.

Semi-Automatic Handgun

Another unmissable, story-driven weapon. At the end of Chapter 2, a few minutes after receiving the knife, you will enter a small house. Before leaving it, the hero will independently take the cannon from the bedside table, which is not far from the door.

Hand Axes

This melee weapon belongs to consumables, as it breaks after the first use. However, it can replace a knife in close combat. You can find them just like most other in-game items - just pick up the axes from the ground. These hatchets can also be taken from enemies. For example, monsters living in the northeast of O'Neal's hideout are wielding such weapons.

Crossbow (Warden Crossbow)

The Overseer's first Crossbow can be found in the southwest side of the Residential Area. You will be able to get here almost at the very beginning of the game. During Chapter 3, when you finally get to Union, you will be given the goal of getting to O'Neill's hideout.

When you leave the safe house and take a few steps towards the road, a short cutscene will begin in which it will be shown how "Union" is falling apart. At this point, just walk down the street to the end. If you pick up your communicator, you will find a fallen Mobius operative. When checking the map, you will see that there is a weapon near this agent. The crossbow can be found directly behind a white Humvee, near an object that looks like a roadblock. He lies on a gray box next to a dead agent. You will also find one Shock Bolt here, which we recommend you keep for fighting bosses.

The Overseer's Crossbow can be modified at special miles, which are located in the shelters. As soon as you pick up a weapon and collect enough of its additional parts, you will be able to improve the crossbow. We advise you to reduce the time it takes to reload, as well as increase the rate of fire, ammunition and power. In addition, it is worth looking for an upgrade based on the skills of the protagonist. To do this, head to Sebastian's room (broken mirror, not far from the shelter) and sit on a chair at the end of the corridor.

Sawed-Off Shotgun

When you complete the task of tracing the source of the girl's voice using the communicator, you will find yourself in the Living Zone. This is the starting area of the game world. After meeting with Operative Moebius and finding your first hideout, head north to the side path. Follow this road and go to the second house on the left, where you will find another operative lying right in front of the building's entrance. Enter the white house (322 Cedar Ave) and go through the door on your right. In the next room, walk along the left edge to another room. Go through the new door and find a hatch that leads to the basement.

On the lower floor, you will find a small control room. Go to the computer on the table and use it to go to Marrow: Armory. In the next area, there is only one place you can go - to another computer. Use it to get into a new room. The Sawed-Off (Shotgun) is located at the end of this last building. To access it, you need to go down the other side of the first room, go through the door to the left of the elevator, crawl through the tunnel, use another door and finally adjust the amplitude and frequency on the console. The armory is located behind the door that opens through the console. In the corner of the armory on the ground is a case with a sawn-off shotgun. Having received this weapon, you can check its upgrades and characteristics in the shelter.

Laser-Sighted Handgun

The first cannon with a laser sight can be found in the Residential Area. This is where you will find yourself in the passage of the third chapter. At some point, you will need to track the location of the Mobius member. He will lead you to the first refuge.

Exit this safe room and head northwest. In this area, you will find a wide street approaching the edge of the map. Follow it until you reach an auto parts store. You will see it from afar as it has bright neon signs. Next to this shop, find a closed parking lot surrounded by a chain-link fence.

Jump over the metal fence and find the body near the white truck. Go to the corpse to find a weapon. At this moment, you can be attacked by a monster with unique acrobatic skills. The cannon will still be on the ground, so you can pick it up and attack the monster right away. Then we advise you to be sure to modify this weapon in order to improve its characteristics.

Sniper Rifle

In fact you will find broken sniper rifle, so be prepared for the fact that you will have to fix it in the future. So, after starting Chapter 3 and visiting the Residential Area hideout, turn the camera to the left. You will notice a two-story brick building. On its right side there is a ladder, along which you can climb up. Here you will find several more yellow ladders that lead to the roof. Keep climbing until you get to the roof. Then turn to the left and go to the edge. You will notice a dead body belonging to a Mobius operative with a non-working sniper rifle lying next to it.

Flamethrower

To get the flamethrower, you need to deal with the boss, which you will encounter at the end of the eleventh chapter. True, this weapon will be broken and you will not be able to use it until you reach the thirteenth chapter.

In chapter 13, you must defeat two Harbinger to obtain the flamethrower fuel tanks. One of them is located near the starting shelter, and the second is south of the shelter next to the Diner. Harbingers are easy to spot - they are masked psychos with flamethrowers.

By killing these two opponents, you can finally assemble a working flamethrower. Be sure to take it to the next chapter and use it when fighting Laura for the I’ll Take You Down Myself achievement.

What weapon to download

How can I upgrade my weapon?

You will need a workbench to upgrade your weapon. Weapon parts will also be needed. You can find one such workbench in the offices of Sebastian Castellanos and in other hideouts scattered throughout the game world. As for weapon parts, they can lie on the ground and various objects right in the open air, and sometimes fall out of opponents or be hidden inside boxes (containers) that can be opened or destroyed.

As with any other item in The evil Within 2, weapon parts are limited. That's why their correct application has a high value. If you see a shiny item, pick it up. You will soon collect enough parts to upgrade. When that happens, it's time to figure out what exactly is best to pump. And in this regard, we have some advice.

Upgrade as early as possible

For a very long time over early stages I thought it would be irrational to spend precious weapon parts on improving the pistol that appears in The Evil Within 2 from the beginning. Why spend these items to upgrade some of the weakest weapons in the game?

Thinking so, I was wrong - do not waste time and purchase the upgrade as soon as possible.

Every weapon upgrade you make is associated with all weapons in the same category. Basically, when you upgrade a regular pistol, you buy upgrades for an explosive, silenced pistol, or laser sight. The same applies to the category of shotguns - sawn-off, double-barreled, long-barreled.

Thus, try to upgrade your weapons as early as possible. But which one? Good question!

Upgrade the weapons you use the most

The Evil Within 2 lets you play as you see fit. If you want to be discreet, that's great. If you like to run to the crowd of monsters with shouts of "Hurray" - well, your business! It turns out that the weapon you decide to upgrade depends on your playstyle.

If you use a pistol a lot, then focus on getting it up and running. If you're a big fan of the sawn-off shotgun, then spend weapon parts on the shotgun category. The same goes for shooting the Sentinel crossbow. Although in the latter case, it should be admitted that the upgrades this weapon practically do not justify themselves. In other words, insert weapon parts into the weapon whose trigger is under your index finger.

This has another huge plus. If you start distributing parts across all weapon categories, you will soon find yourself wasting precious resources on tools you never use at all. The sniper rifle is a great example. How many times have you already used it per game? It is very powerful but limited in use (especially inside buildings). The best investments in the game are pistols and shotguns.

Advice. Choose your favorite weapon and upgrade it as soon as possible. Especially the gun. Pistols and shotguns (especially the latter), despite everything, are not as powerful by default as they really would like. That is why timely purchased upgrades will be of paramount importance in survival. In addition, without going into the details of our next guide on the location of weapons, we frankly emphasize that a considerable amount of time will pass before you get a new weapon.

Since in The Evil Within 2 something like open world, then you will have to look for weapons here on your own while exploring the city of Union. In this guide, we'll show you where to find all the weapons in The Evil Within 2.

Where to find weapons in The Evil Within 2

Crossbow "Guardian"

Probably the most important weapon in The Evil Within 2, with electric bolts opening doors to some hideouts. You can find him almost at the very beginning of chapter 3, in the Residential Zone, after which you will find a refuge with O'Neill. Exit there and head left. Near the crossroads, behind the white Hummer, on the boxes lies the corpse of a soldier chained with a crossbow bolt, and next to the crossbow itself.

Trim

Located inside a house in a central residential area. If you go along the small side path, to the northeast of O'Neill's shelter, then pay attention to the second house on the left, white with a green door, there is still a monster stacking corpses in a heap nearby. Enter the house, find the trap door to the basement, and use the computer to get to Network: Arsenal. In the next area, pick up all the trash cartridges and go further, near the elevator you will meet a lovely lady, further into the door to the right and along the tunnel there is another gentleman. The final room has a locked door with a wall console, adjust the amplitude and frequency of the sound. Behind this locked door is an armory with a crate and a sawn-off shotgun in it.

Laser sight pistol

Located in the western part of the Living Square, in the parking lot next to the auto repair shop. Jump over the fence and examine the body. It is on the ground next to the white car.

Sniper rifle

As soon as you exit O'Neill's hideout, in the residential area, you will see a building with a brick façade across the street. There are several dead Mobius operatives on the roof of this building. There you will find a Broken Sniper Rifle that you will have to fix. To do this, you need to find parts for a sniper rifle and a workbench. Fortunately, all of this can be found in the shed next to the auto shop. In fact, the parts are on the workbench itself. But carefully, next to the barn, an unpleasant monster calls up friends and spits acid.

Long barreled shotgun

This weapon can be found in the business district, in chapter 6. From Sykes' hideout, go south to the cliff, there, use your radio to catch the distortion signal. You will find a dead operative Moebius with a Warehouse Key on her body. After that, you will encounter a multi-headed circular, do not forget to stock up on cartridges. Now go to the post office, this is the first hideout in this chapter, there is a brick building nearby and there is a box with a shotgun in it. Don't forget to say hello when you leave the warehouse.

Flamethrower

Found in the story, after the boss battle. That's just the trouble, it is faulty and will remain until chapter 13. You need 2 cylinders, which in turn need to be picked up by defeating two such bosses. There are plenty of them in this chapter.

You can wield not only the usual firearms... You will also have a deadly crossbow at your disposal.

The Warden Crossbow is a unique weapon that shoots different types bolts (special ammunition) that are suitable for different play styles. You can set a trap with electric bolts or pass silently with freezing and harpoon bolts, or even make a hell of a mess with explosives. You decide.

Walking around Union and exploring buildings, you will find a few bolts, but if you want to use the crossbow regularly, you will have to craft ammo with your own pens. Just remember to collect any debris: fuse, black powder, nails, metal pipes, condensers and, of course, ordinary gunpowder.

In the passage of The Evil Within 2, there will come a moment when you cannot go further without a crossbow, and it is better to get it early than late. A great opportunity will be presented in the third chapter, at the same time when you get the task to find a broken sniper rifle, as well as several other types of weapons. Always remember the location of the shelters where you can rest and heal.

Where to find the "Guardian" crossbow

Take out the communicator and look at the map on which O "Neil (O" Neil) marked the location of the employee Mobius. You don't have to go far, but be quiet and careful not to run into enemies. When you get to the APC, grab the Sentinel Crossbow. After the cut-scene, you will have a great opportunity to try out electric bolts. And do not forget to pick up the harpoon in the same place.

Why do you need different types of bolts, and what to craft them from

The Sentinel Crossbow is one of the main weapons in The Evil Within 2. It is needed to destroy multiple enemies and create traps. Get used to it, it will come in handy for you.

Electrobolts (Shock)... The electrical discharge will jump from one enemy to another, knocking you down. After that, you should hurry up and finish them off. Keep in mind that stronger opponents will not fall, but will still take damage. Electric bolts can also be fired at fuse boxes to open locked electronic doors, or puddles to kill multiple enemies at once. You will find the first electric bolts along with the crossbow itself.

Crafted from fuse and gunpowder.

Smoke... Their main task is to create a veil that will allow them to hide from the eyes of the enemy. These bolts are very useful when you need to walk past a large number opponents, and there are not so many shelters nearby. After upgrading at the workbench, they can even kill. The first ones you will find in the Northern Shelter in the residential area.

Created from black powder and common gunpowder.

Explosive... It is not hard to guess that with the help of them you can make a lot of noise, tearing enemies to pieces. They are useful against large opponents as they try their best to avoid explosions. In addition to flying nails, the environment can catch on fire, but be careful not to fry yourself. You will find several in the residential area of the Union Garage.

Crafted from gunpowder and nails.

Harpoon... Silent bolts are great for stealth attacks and ripping off limbs. Save them for moments when it's best to go stealth. Several lie in the Northern Hideout, as well as near the location of the crossbow itself.

Created from metal pipes.

Freezing (Freeze)... Probably the least useful bolt of all. With the help of them, you can freeze the enemy and destroy, or slow down by a short time... You can find them in the Union Conservation Area at Torres Refuge.

Crafted from gunpowder and capacitors.

  • All Evil Within 2 weapons - where to find a flamethrower, magnum, brass knuckles and more

If you intend to lead Detective Castellanos to the very end of The Evil Within 2, then you will definitely need a weapon, and it is better to get it as soon as possible.

One of the best weapons in The Evil Within 2 is the sniper rifle. It is ideal for aiming at medium to long ranges, and is vital for eliminating enemies while staying at a relatively safe distance.

Unfortunately, the working sniper rifle will only appear closer to the end of the game, but you can get it almost at the very beginning of Chapter 3. The only problem is that it is broken. But we know how to fix it.

Where to find the sniper rifle at the beginning of the game

At the beginning of Chapter 3, once you're ready to leave the safe, try to quietly walk through the Residential District. You're looking for an alley between the Guest Center and Jason Franklin's Restaurant. Check the map.

Climb the stairs to reach the rooftop where you will find Lost Opponent. There is a “broken sniper rifle” and cartridges for it. Search the corpse and find a communicator that will tell you where to go next. The mark will appear on the map.

When you get to the place, get ready to meet with opponents. One of the opponents will be “Sentinel”, you cannot defeat him, so you need to quickly run to the “barn”.

Inside the barn you will find a workbench where you can craft parts for a broken sniper rifle. After repairs, you will receive a fully working sniper rifle.

In this guide to The Evil Within 2, we will share with you some important tips for the game, namely advice on how to fight with opponents, hide and seek from them, what better weapons take with you and how to successfully hide from enemies.

So, first you need to understand one simple truth: everything in The Evil Within 2 wants your blood. There are also NPCs in the game with whom you can chat and learn useful information or take a quest, but most of the population in the quiet town of Union will want to kill you. Therefore, you will have to shoot and hide a lot.

The Evil Within 2 Guide: Stealth

You will spend a huge amount of time in The Evil Within 2 trying to hide your presence from the many opponents that populate the game world. Often, you will not be able to take and run along the next street or road so easily, since opponents will be scattered almost everywhere. Moreover, your enemies, despite their rather unhealthy appearance, have incredibly strong hearing and vision.

However, throughout the game you can find great hiding places like parked cars, piles of rubbish, crates or even bushes to help you stay undetected. Plus, you also don't need to predict whether your opponents will see or hear you. In the interface of The Evil Within 2, there is a convenient indicator that notifies you about the state of awareness of opponents, in the form of an eye at the top of the screen.

Apart from this, The Evil Within 2 also has several skills to help you be more stealthy. For example, in the skill tree, you can find a skill that will help you move much faster in a crouched position. Yes, the initial speed of movement in this position is tolerable, but sometimes you want Sebastian, the main character of the first and second parts of The Evil Within 2, to move a little faster.

I also want to mention the items to distract the attention of opponents. Unlike the previous part, distraction items, such as bottles, now work as they should and you can rely on them. As soon as you are about to throw an object, then a zone will appear on the screen in which the object will land and even in what area its landing will be heard. Very convenient and practical.

The Evil Within 2 Guide: Best Weapons

You can find tons of weapons in The Evil Within 2, which is especially surprising since it is a survival game. At the very beginning, you will only have a pistol. Don't assume that if this is the first weapon, then it is the weakest. No, a pistol is a pistol and it fulfills its role one hundred percent: a couple of three shots to the head of the foe and he is already ready. However, what about the rest of the weapon?

Well, all the weapons in the game have their purpose: one cannon works well here and the other here. However, I would still like to advise two copies that can help you out in most situations. We recommend that you use a shotgun and a sniper rifle. Why exactly them? The thing is that opponents will constantly try to creep up to you as close as possible in order to tear off a boring piece from you. This is where the shotgun comes to the rescue, which is ideal at close range. If you increase your Firepower even further, the shotgun will become a weapon that destroys whole crowds.

Ok, why a sniper rifle? Compared to the first part, The Evil Within 2 has much more open spaces through which you can move more or less freely. On these spaces adversaries will be scattered, which can be easily killed with a sniper rifle. Set up somewhere in the bushes or behind a car and shoot off the heads of evil monsters.

For close combat - a shotgun, and for long-range - a sniper rifle. For a shotgun, we recommend improving Firepower and Reload Speed, and the rifle does not even need to be improved, since it already has good characteristics. However, you can upgrade the "Steady Hand" skill in the Combat tree, which will help reduce the scope shake. Accordingly, aiming with a sniper rifle will become much easier (especially for players on controllers).

Well, perhaps you can still advise to try to hit the weak points of opponents. Accordingly, for more or less anthropomorphic enemies, this is the head (or part of it), while for others - places highlighted in red. By shooting them, you will be able to inflict maximum damage.

The Evil Within 2 Guide: Melee

If we compare the melee system with the first part, then The Evil Within 2 was able to improve the concept, and many times over. Close combat is no longer a useless waste of time, but a completely adequate alternative for protecting oneself dear. It is still difficult to quickly kill someone in melee, but given Sebastian's increased mobility, it is quite a feasible task.

In The Evil Within 2, we have at our disposal a real knife, which is the basic melee weapon and it appears when you press the melee attack button. No more awkward punching! If you run out of cartridges, and one annoying monster has sat on the tail, then it is quite possible to deal with him with a knife.

In addition, in The Evil Within 2, you can also find Axes, which have huge melee damage and are able to deal with most opponents with a single blow. As soon as you find the Ax and pick it up, it will become a replacement for your knife, so be careful, otherwise you will spend such a precious thing on a weak opponent. Axes can be found both in the hands of a monster, or simply lying or sticking out of someone.

The Evil Within 2 Guide: Best Skills

But the skills in The Evil Within 2 are already more complicated, since almost all of them have their own benefits. We can only recommend that you first of all try to pump skills from the Fight and Stealth branches. Why exactly are they? The thing is that with the initial skills from other branches, you can survive quite normally.

Leveling up some of the same skills from Combat and Stealth can make your life easier and your movement around the world of the game as a whole quite good. For example, in the Stealth branch there is a skill called Ninja, which will allow Sebastian to move faster in a hidden position. In addition, there is also the Stealth skill, which allows you to increase the overall stealth of the character, as well as the Bottle Blow skill, which will allow you to break out of the tenacious grip of the enemy if a bottle is lying around in your inventory. All in all, Stealth is a very useful branch.

The Combat branch will make it easier for you to control your weapons: reduce aim shake, reduce recoil, increase melee damage, etc. Unlike the first part, it makes sense to pump all these skills and you will immediately feel the improvement.

However, we are not suggesting that all other branches in The Evil Within are a waste of time. We just liked the Stealth and Combat branches most of all, and they played a big role in many situations that arose in the game. It makes sense to pump all the branches, as they will form a unique style of passage for you.
