What are the portals to Minecraft without mods
It’s useful for a beginner to know that in any version of the game the portal can only be to hell and vice versa, but using this portal can and should be done to move to the city or to the point of the world where you built it. There is also a portal to Ender, but it cannot be built on survival mode, you can only find it. But in creative it can be done, this will be discussed below.
How to make a portal to hell without mods
As mentioned above, this is the only portal that can be built without mods. He needs at least 10 blocks of obsidian (an economical version of the portal, but in fact it is built from 14 blocks) and a lighter. We lay out a rectangle from obsidian in 4 blocks horizontally and 5 vertically with an empty middle.

A portal to the city is, in fact, the same hellish one, not just an entrance, but an exit. No matter how many hell portals you create, you’ll leave the first one you built all the time, so you need to make it where your house is, that is, in the city. If you make the first portal in the forest, you will always go out into the forest. 
There is no other way to get into the city without mods and you should not believe whoever claims to be there. Verified in practice, all other portals can only be done after installing mods.
Portal to the Territory (Ender)
Edge - the world in the form of an island on which a large number of wanderers of the region live, as well as a dragon (boss), after the destruction of the dragon, the player can see the final splash screen of the game.
In creative mode, it can be built from 12 frames + 12 Eyes of the Edge. All frames should be parallel to each other and should be facing inward (it is better to put blocks from the inside, being in the center of the portal).

A portal to the edge for survival is not created, it can only be found in the fortress with the help of the eye of Ender. It consists of 12 frames in the shape of a square ring. These stones usually contain ores that are used to create weapons, sacred tools, and to produce building materials. An ambrosium is extracted from the most common rune for fuel, after which it can be used to create a healing stone from a luminous stone. There is also a small chance to get a sword and an additional ambrosium for the production of building materials.
Now, from a luminous stone, it is necessary to build a portal, a man-made structure consisting of several frames, in order to pass into another dimension. The size of the contour will be four blocks in length and six in height.
After the construction is completed, the player will need water in order to activate the passage. To do this, create a bucket, and, filling it with water, pour it into the portal. To activate it, you must fill it in whole.

At the beginning of the game it will be difficult to get diamonds, especially obsidian.

Which portal we will create earlier, in that we will constantly appear. The same can be done with the portal in the end world. Make 2 portals in one world to navigate between them. Such a portal is created a little differently. Firstly, it is built horizontally. A pit 2 into 2 blocks is made and filled with water. Around you need to plant any flowers, seedlings, or mushrooms. As well as for the portal to hell, for this, too, you need a "lever" that will launch it. For this to work, you need to throw 1 diamond into the water, lightning will strike the portal.
Of course, the option with the ende portal is much harder because in order to return to the normal world and the portal opens, you need to kill the ende dragon.
