Today, society has retained those social values whose significance is not in doubt: and one of these values is physical culture. The value of this value in the process of personality formation is very large - and it is not for nothing that there is a proverb - "In a healthy body - a healthy mind." However, currently there are such barriers to the spread of physical education as a lack of funding, a sedentary lifestyle, and poor media coverage. All this interferes with the formation of youth interest in terms of physical perfection.

This problem is especially relevant for students of all colleges, institutes and universities, since it is at this time, and at this age, that the very foundations of a healthy lifestyle are formed and laid, and physical education is not always a priority and is not always laid down initially. At the same time, the workload on students is enormous, which significantly harms their overall physical and mental state of the student, and this can especially negatively affect the process of personality formation, which coincides with the period of study at a college or other higher educational institution. It is necessary to consider the concept of physical culture during this period of time as a combination of the student’s physical development, his state of health and psyche, and actually “physical culture”. The relevance of this topic stems from the new course of social and, in particular, youth policy, where the main place is assigned to all areas of "improving society" and a healthy lifestyle. The current situation is such that young people often do not have a real opportunity to increase the level of physical education.

Nevertheless, there is such a point of view, according to which, the lack of the proper level of development of sports and the promotion of physical culture leads to an increasing spread of such "diseases of society" as nicotine addiction, alcoholism, including the so-called "Beer alcoholism", drug addiction - mainly among young people. Opinions are also expressed about the direct dependence of the demographic, and therefore the economic situation in the country, on the level of physical culture of the population.

In order to study the influence of physical culture on the process of personality formation in the process of studying in higher educational institutions and the choice of professional activity, it is necessary to take into account both permanent and temporary conditions that set the task for a person to improve his physical condition and health. The latter include consideration of the importance and role of physical education.

The importance of physical culture and sports for the health, development, and general condition of a person is difficult to exaggerate. From an early age, parents, teachers, and the media - radio and television - inspire and insist on the unique usefulness of physical activity for their children and encourage children to play sports actively. It is at this age that sports are usually held under the supervision of experienced trainers and specialists who monitor the correct and harmonious development of a growing organism. At school age, this role is mainly played by physical education teachers at school. By the age of 16, a person’s self-awareness is sufficiently formed. From that moment on, the playful nature of playing sports turns into a serious and complete awareness of the individual of all the usefulness and joy that physical education and sports bring him. A positive aspect is that sport contributes to the development of sociability, eliminates complexes and liberates; physical activity, active movement are very beneficial for success in mental work, which is by no means superfluous for students. Along with this comes the need for an independent assessment of their physical capabilities and, in accordance with this, to really calculate their strength. The subject of physical education, which is taught in colleges, forms another layer in the general physical condition of a person, his health, physical fitness and physical perfection. Physical education is, first of all, the prevention of various diseases and primarily hypertension and coronary heart disease. These diseases, often observed by technical specialists, require long-term treatment. But, alas, it does not always lead to recovery. Significantly large effect gives their prevention. In the process of exercising physical activity increases. This is evidenced by the increasing ability of a person to do a lot of work for a certain period of time. With an increase in working capacity in a state of muscle rest, the heart rate decreases. A person begins to work more, but less tired. Rest and, above all, sleep is fully utilized by the body. The professional activity of our students implies physical work, which means that such a person must have good physical shape and excellent health. And you can achieve all this by regularly doing sports and physical education.

The significance of a person’s physical preparedness, determined at this stage in the development of society by the need for an effective workforce, is becoming increasingly important. In addition, physical education and sports gives a person not only a sense of physical perfection, but also gives him strength and shapes his spirit. Raises the level of moral qualities of man, which is so necessary for today's society. Physical culture takes on tremendous importance in the process of personality formation, when it affects him from different angles, it forms moral qualities, spirit, and affects the physical state, stimulating a new approach to life and work, new achievements in life and work - this is the effect physical culture.

In order to consciously come to the conclusion and the importance of physical culture and sport, a person must understand its role in his life. And it’s very good if he understands this not too late, in order

to start a healthy lifestyle.

Sport and physical culture is not only a healthy lifestyle - it is generally a normal and healthy life, which opens up more and more new opportunities for the realization of forces and talents. This is the path that a sane person enters, so that his life would be fruitful, bring joy to himself and others. A progressive rhythm of life requires more physical activity and fitness. All the increasing loads that fall on our shoulders throughout life require a higher physical perfection, which should be achieved through physical education.

Conclusion

Every sane person wants to live his life happily ever after. But health cannot be bought and received as a gift. And no online gift store will help. Therefore, everything must be done to save it before it is too late. Usually, as a result of an improper lifestyle, a person has nervous disorders, various diseases, problems at work and at home. But you just need to think: are we doing everything possible to maintain our health? Indeed, trips to the doctor can often be avoided if you properly build your lifestyle. https://kopilkaurokov.ru/fizkultura/prochee/stat_ia_po_fizkul_turie_na_tiemu_fizichieskaia_kul_tura_v_zhizni_studienta ()

In the changing economic, political and social situation, social values remained, the significance of which is not questioned: one of these values is physical culture. The conscious orientation of the individual to physical education and sports is one of the fundamental elements of the formation of physical culture in modern society. It is she who determines the behavior of the individual, the attitude towards himself and others. The orientation of the personality is revealed not in individual, random actions of a person, but in a chosen, main field of activity.

A significant amount of research has been devoted to questions of personality orientation, however, the problem of forming the personality orientation of students is still relevant. In the current situation, it becomes important to rethink the content, methods and techniques of forming the personality orientation based on the personality-activity approach, which puts at the center of pedagogical research an analysis of subjective factors in understanding values, ideals, and meaning in various types of activity. Of particular concern is the lack of a positive focus on physical education and sports among most students.

It should be noted that physical education classes will be more effective the more clearly the youth realizes the goals of physical culture and the personal value of such classes. Therefore, it is necessary to search for such methods of organizing classes in physical culture, methods of influence that could most effectively ensure the formation of a positive orientation of a person to physical education classes.

The analysis of the results of the formation of the personality orientation of students of different age groups showed that the number of students with a positive focus on physical education (up to 30%) is significantly reduced by senior school age, and this result only stabilizes in a university.

The use of only traditional methods and methods of influence, often scattered among themselves, poorly taking into account the individual typological characteristics of students, are not promising enough. It is more expedient to use such an integral system of specific forms of organization of classes and methods of influence that meet the humanistic principle of “induce, not force” and, thereby, increase the students' interest in the activity that the teacher focuses on. The function of such methods of influence should be to ensure the restructuring of the students' motivational sphere, the goals of activity they have adequately adopted, as a result of which a positive orientation towards it is formed.

The dynamics of the personality orientation in the most general form can be represented as follows: on the basis of various elementary needs, a person has drives. Recognizing, drives turn into desires. Satisfaction of drives, desires is associated with the manifestation of will and emotional processes. Needs initially appear as an emotional state, then this state, becoming stable, realized, generalized, becomes the motive of activity. At the same time, needs become a form of manifestation of orientation. Meeting needs leads to increased activity.

The aim of the study was to analyze the orientation of the interests of students to physical education and sports. Recently, a large number of specialists in the field of physical education raise the question of the need to increase interest and improve the attitude of students studying physical education and sports. In the 2013-14 academic year. In the year, teachers of the Department of Physical Education No. 1 of the National Research University “BelSU” conducted an anonymous survey of 1-3 year students of various specialties. The survey involved 448 students, of which 150 were young men and 298 were girls. An analysis of the results of the formation of the orientation of the personality of students showed that most of them have practically no orientation toward physical education and sports.

The study of the formation of the orientation of the student’s personality to physical education classes suggests that the orientation as a whole is at a low level. It should be noted that 29% of girls and 4.5% of boys have never played sports at all. Most students, in addition to compulsory classes, are not involved in physical education, although according to the questionnaire, 28.5% of boys and 39% of girls indicate that it is in their university that there are all conditions for physical education and sports at a time convenient for them. It was found that the vast majority of 1st year students (75.8%) attend classes due to need, and only 9.4% attend physical education classes with desire.

Some optimism is caused by the analysis of student youth answers to the question about the purpose of attending physical education classes at the university (Fig. 1). Despite the fact that the main part of those involved in attending classes is getting credit, and the smaller part is promoting health, their percentage from course to course is changing for the better.

Fig. 1 Purpose of attending physical education students

Motives for physical education, according to N.I. Ponomarev, V.M. Reyzin, are the main condition for their effectiveness. An anonymous survey of students of Belgorod universities showed that 70% of students go to physical education classes exclusively to get a test (exam); 20% - to distract from classroom activities; 7% - to “kill” time; and only 3% - to increase the level of physical fitness. Thus, we can conclude that, firstly, most students are not aware of the importance of physical culture for their health and future success in their profession and life, and secondly, for most of them (and those who attend classes regularly, and those who misses them) the content of these classes is not interesting enough.

An analysis of students' answers to questions that make it possible to evaluate their lifestyle and identify factors contributing to a decrease in health is also alarming (Fig. 2).

Fig. 2. Self-assessment of a healthy standard of living of students of the National Research University "BelSU"

The scientifically substantiated need of the young body for movements corresponds to 14-19 thousand steps per day, or 1.3-1.8 hours per day. At the same time, self-esteem of students' motor activity indicates its insufficiency. Our studies have shown that the real value of students' motor activity is clearly lower than their self-esteem. So, most young men characterize their motor activity as above average, and most girls - as average (Fig. 3).

Fig. 3. Self-assessment of motor activity of students of the National Research University "BelSU"

When answering the question of what interest was shown in physical education at school, students of different courses gave somewhat contradictory answers (Fig. 4).

It would seem that interest in classes at school for students of all courses should be at the same level and not change with age. However, when analyzing the answers, it was found that from course to course there is an increase in interest in physical education while studying at school. Perhaps this is due to the fact that, engaged in physical education at the university, students increasingly recall classes at school with nostalgia, as they were more interested in classes at school. An analysis of the answers to the question about the interest shown in physical education at the university confirms the assumption that with age, interest in such classes for several reasons decreases in both girls and boys.

Fig. 4. Interest in physical education at school and university among students of the National Research University "BelSU"

Confirmation of a progressive decrease in motor activity of student youth was a comparison of the results of answers to the question about occupations in sports sections while studying at school and subsequently at a university (Fig. 5).

Fig. 5. Classes in sports sections by students of the National Research University "BelSU" before entering the university and while studying at the university

Especially sharply after school, girls stop playing sports. Perhaps this is due to the lack of free time that they begin to spend on preparing homework, communicating with new friends, etc. Studying students' answers about the sports that they were doing at school or are currently doing, revealed the most popular types of motor activity. Most of the youths highlighted sports games. Girls in school years were more often involved in sports games, and during training at the university they began to pay attention to aerobics and its varieties.

In response to a question about the need to make changes to the content of the curriculum on the subject “Physical Culture”, the opinions of students were divided. Most students consider it necessary to make some adjustments to the educational process, while the rest do not want any changes in the curriculum. Moreover, students of a special educational department, from course to course, attendance increases, and they less want any changes in the curriculum. Perhaps this is a consequence of the fact that students of a special educational department from course to course in the process of practical training, gaining additional, including theoretical knowledge and applying them in practice, are aware of the effectiveness of physical education classes. In their free time, students are given the right to choose the type of physical activity, various sports events are organized for them. But, despite this, the overwhelming majority of respondents answered that they did not take part in the sports life of the faculty. And in senior courses, the number of students representing their faculty at sports events is declining.

A negative trend is observed in the attitude of students towards the possibility of including compulsory physical education classes in 4 and 5 courses. If the first-year boys have a clear desire to continue physical education throughout the entire period of study at the university, then already at the second and third courses there is a slight decrease in this interest. Girls show even lower interest in regular physical education classes at 4 and 5 courses. Already in the 1st year, there are few who want to engage in physical exercises in advanced courses, and in the future there will be even fewer such students.

Obviously, increasing the motor activity (YES) of students is impossible without the formation of a sincere interest in physical education and a conscious desire to do physical exercises additionally. Taking into account the interest shown by students in any sport would improve the effectiveness of physical education classes. The data obtained indicate that for most respondents the most attractive are aerobics (24%), sports (20%), swimming and diving (18%). A significant part of the respondents (about 40%) would like to engage in additional types of physical exercises of interest to them, outside of the curriculum.

Conclusion The results of the survey are optimistic in the sense that they indicate an interest in physical activity and a willingness to engage with most students. At the same time, these results make us think about finding opportunities and ways of organizing the work of the departments of physical education so that students can engage in those types of physical exercises that interest them and for which they are ready to find extra time.

Thus, the need to find ways to increase interest in physical education and sports students is not in doubt. Well-organized, dynamic, diverse, exciting physical education classes serve a number of promising goals. All of the above indicates the need for serious measures to inculcate in students an interest in various types of motor activity, to form the orientation of the individual towards physical education and sports, as well as the formation of their attitude towards a healthy lifestyle.

Specialists of a number of professions experience in their activities the so-called “psycho-emotional burnout”, which is characterized by exhaustion of the body at the psyche level and the inability of a person to cope with emotional stress at work. In the human-human professions, negative signs of professional deformation of the personality are often manifested, but most often physicians (doctors, nurses) are subject to this. High-quality performance of their professional duties in such situations is almost impossible. Symptoms of psycho-emotional burnout can also occur in medical students in the process of learning at a university. The increase in this burnout and the lack of preventive measures lead not only to the student's desire to finish their studies, but also to suicidal thoughts. The publication considers the possibility of preventing the psycho-emotional burnout of medical students by means and methods of physical education in the learning process.

On the benefits of physical education and sports.

Performing physical exercises causes flows of nerve impulses from working muscles and joints and brings the central nervous system into an active, active state. Accordingly, the work of internal organs is activated, which provides a person with high efficiency and gives him a tangible surge of vigor.

Many exercises contribute to the prevention and treatment of chronic disorders of the internal organs and musculoskeletal system.

The main qualities that characterize the physical development of a person are strength, speed, agility, flexibility and endurance. Improving each of these qualities contributes to better health, but far
not equally. Weightlifting exercises make you strong, training in short-distance running helps you to become fast, the use of gymnastic and acrobatic exercises affect the development of agility and flexibility.

Scientists came to the conclusion that for effective healing, prevention of respiratory diseases it is necessary to train and improve, first of all, the most valuable physical quality in the health plan - endurance, which, combined with hardening and other components of a healthy lifestyle, will provide a reliable shield against many diseases.

A high level of endurance can be achieved using exercises of a cyclic nature, i.e. sufficiently long, uniform, repetitive loads. Cycling exercises include running, Nordic walking, swimming, skiing, cycling, and, with certain reservations, sports such as basketball, tennis, handball, soccer, etc.

Scientific research and practice in many countries of the world have convincingly proven the leading healing effect of Nordic walking on the health of people of all ages. It is proved that movement improves blood flow in all internal organs, including the brain, which is especially valuable because it provides an energy base for improving brain regulation and mental activity.

After systematic exercises in the state of the nervous system, noticeable positive changes are observed. Vision and hearing are improved, a positive emotional state prevails, lung volume increases, mental capabilities increase significantly and the information received is better remembered. Headaches practically disappear, sleep improves, mental and physical performance increases. All this is due to the increase in the brain tissues of special substances - neuropeptides, which make up the biochemical basis of mental activity.

The body's response to increased oxygen demand is called a training effect or positive physical changes. Here are some of these shifts:
 the total blood volume increases so much that the possibility of oxygen transport improves, and therefore a person shows greater endurance with intense physical exertion;
 lung volume increases;
 the heart muscle is strengthened, it is better provided with blood;
 the content of high density lipoproteins increases, the ratio of total cholesterol decreases, which reduces the risk of developing atherosclerosis;
 the bone system is strengthened;
 aerobics helps to cope with physical and emotional stress;
 working capacity increases;
 aerobics is a real way to lose weight or maintain normal weight.
 The choice of an individual exercise program is necessary so that the exercises give pleasure, that the heart becomes healthy, and the body strong. Exercise improves mood, improves muscle tone, maintains flexibility of the spine and helps prevent disease.
